Certificates and licences, with the expiry date watched for you
Upload a certificate and the expiry is read off it, a reminder is set, and a renewal task is raised before it lapses. The lapse you find out about from an inspector is the expensive one.

Why this is the one that bites
Nobody forgets a certificate on purpose. They forget it because renewal is eleven months away on the day it is filed, and eleven months later it is in a drawer. The cost is not the renewal fee — it is the event you cannot staff, or the inspection you fail.
What happens
- Upload the document. A certificate, a licence, an insurance policy, a staff contract.
- The expiry is read from it. You are not asked to type it.
- It is filed by category — food hygiene, public liability, liquor licence, health and safety, staff certification, vehicle permit, employment contract, policy.
- A reminder is set, and a renewal task is raised before the date.
- What needs action is surfaced — expired first, then expiring soonest.
Silence is not safety
A document with no expiry recorded is shown as having none recorded, rather than as fine. The distinction matters: "nobody filled this in" and "this does not expire" look identical in most systems and mean opposite things.
Questions people ask
Does it read the expiry date from the document?
Yes. Upload the file and the expiry is read from it, filed by category, with a reminder and a renewal task raised before the date.
Does it cover staff certifications as well as company documents?
Yes — food handler cards, TIPS certification, employment contracts and company policies all sit alongside insurance and licences.
What if a document has no expiry?
It shows as having none recorded rather than as current. A missing date and a date that does not exist are different things and are not treated as the same.
